I don’t live there, I wouldn’ t like to live there. Too hot and humid for my liking personally .   mean its a nice city to walk around, great restaurants and stuff but I think it might be expensive - rent. food   etc.   Been there on vacation   a couple of times over the years.

What other places are you considering? South Carolina has some nice coastal towns.
